LegitScript has designated pharmnet.com as a rogue Internet pharmacy. Historical information indicates that pharmnet.com claimed to be a legitimate Internet pharmacy but in fact was an affiliate of at least three rogue Internet pharmacy networks. Some purchase orders would be redirected to either rx-checkout.com, rx-checkout-net, or rx-checkout.us, which linked to those three networks respectively. This appeared to occur primarily or exclusively when a customer would click on a Google or Yahoo advertisement for pharmnet.com. More information is available on LegitScript’s blog.
Through these affiliate relationships, pharmnet.com was selling or facilitating the sale of controlled substances without requiring a prescription.
Additionally, we note that pharmnet.com is only licensed in Texas, but offers to ship prescription drugs to all 50 states. Forty-five states require out-of-state pharmacies to be licensed.
