Historical information indicates that pharmnet.com claimed to be a legitimate Internet pharmacy but in fact was an affiliate of at least three rogue Internet pharmacy networks. Some purchase orders would be redirected to either rx-checkout.com, rx-checkout-net, or rx-checkout.us, which linked to those three networks respectively. This appeared to occur primarily or exclusively when a customer would click on a Google or Yahoo advertisement for pharmnet.com. More information is available on LegitScript’s blog.
Through these affiliate relationships, pharmnet.com was selling or facilitating the sale of controlled substances without requiring a prescription.
Additionally, we note that pharmnet.com is only licensed in Texas, but offers to ship prescription drugs to all 50 states. Forty-five states require out-of-state pharmacies to be licensed.
Pharmnet.com’s links and redirects to these rogue Internet pharmacy networks have been removed, but we are unable to recommend that Internet users use pharmnet.com, because of this prior activity, and our inability to confirm that the drugs that the website offers are legitimate, legal drugs.
