Real or rogue? Ask LegitScript’s team

Quite often, LegitScript receives feedback via our website from people reporting rogue Internet pharmacies or ones that seem illicit. Recently, the website rxmeds.tk was submitted to LegitScript by a member of the public who asked whether it was legitimate.

In short, no — rxmeds.tk is not a legitimate Internet pharmacy. Here are the reasons this website is a “rogue” pharmacy:

  • rxmeds.tk is used to facilitate the sale of prescription medications without requiring a valid prescription. If you are unsure whether the Internet pharmacy you are ordering from is legitimate, check to see if the site requires a prescription for prescription-only medication. This is a surefire way to make that determination.
  • The website is not a licensed pharmacy in Canada as it claims, and is most certainly not licensed in the jurisdictions where it ships to.

The domain name registration of rxmeds.tk is privacy protected. If this were a legitimate online pharmacy, why is there a need to shield the person who registered the domain name? If rxmeds.tk were a legitimate Internet pharmacy, that information should be made public.

Additionally, rxmeds.tk is operated by a rogue pharmacy network that LegitScript has identified as MyRxAffiliateProgram. This network is run by a Russian criminal organization that operates hundreds of websites engaged in the sale of unregulated and potentially dangerous pharmaceuticals. The people behind this network intentionally engage in criminal activity, and we strongly urge Internet users to avoid any website belonging to it.

LegitScript appreciates public feedback, and we encourage Internet users to continue to bring suspicious websites to our attention. Please report those websites here.
