LegitScript's analysts recently identified two small Internet pharmacy networks operating illegally and targeting customers in the US, the UK and the EU. The first network is a new affiliate marketing program called iPill Cash that markets prescription drugs mainly to customers in the US and EU (without requiring a prescription, and without any pharmacy licenses). There are about 20 websites in the network so far, some of which were previously part of major Internet pharmacy networks such as Rx-Partners and Pharmcash. The second new network, Gym Pharma, consists of seven websites that market anabolic steroids and prescription medication to customers in the US and UK, but also ships to other locations. They are:
As the name suggests, Gym Pharma previously operated gympharma.com, which was suspended by the domain name registrar Internet.bs for operating in violation of the registrar's policy on Internet pharmacies. The seven new websites were created around the same time gympharma.com was shut down and, like that website, they fail to comply with laws in the jurisdictions they offer to ship to. The websites do not require customers to provide a prescription to order prescription medications, and do not have the required pharmacy licenses.
LegitScript warns Internet users to avoid doing business with these illicit online pharmacies.
