Effectively Monitoring Changes to Websites and Products

This course is approved for one hour of ETA Certified Payment Professional Continuing Education credit.

SESSION DATE:
On-demand

A substantial shift to e-commerce in the past two years has upended underwriting processes and required new approaches to monitoring merchants online. Furthermore, changes to the economy, the supply chain, and consumer demand have merchants frequently updating their websites and inventory. It’s difficult for payment service providers to keep up.

In this course, we look at ways to effectively monitor changes to merchant websites and products. We’ll offer tips to “triage” a website to quickly identify the most likely problematic text and products. You’ll also learn where to look to identify hidden merchant behavior that may violate the law or your terms and conditions. We’ll cover topics such as:

  • Top problematic supplement categories
  • Other high-risk products or services
  • SEO keywords and metadata
  • Merchant e-mails and newsletters
  • Wider internet presence
  • And more!

This is course #2 of LegitScript’s 2022 Merchant Risk Masters Series. Participants can register for individual courses or sign up for the entire series to earn a Merchant Risk Master Certificate (or a Level 2 certification if you completed last year’s series).

Note: Quiz links are provided near the end of each webinar.
