Session Date

Thursday, June 29 at 1 p.m. Eastern / 10 a.m. Pacific

Last year, two big changes impacted the landscape of weapons sales: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives enacted a rule to prevent the sale of unregistered gun parts, and major card brands agreed to start using a new merchant category code to help track gun and ammunition purchases. These efforts to curb gun violence are poised to have ripple effects across payments and e-commerce.

In this webinar, our regulatory experts will:

  • Review the current regulatory landscape of weapons as it relates to online sales
  • Talk about the recent enforcement changes and card brand rules that have occurred in the weapons space
  • Discuss how these might impact payment service providers and e-commerce marketplaces.

Want to learn about cannabis and weapons, too? Register here for the whole series.
